Montgomeryville, PA--- Real estate agents with Keller Williams in Montgomeryville are driven to give back to the community. This precedent is part of the entire Keller Williams culture established by the Austin-based brokerage.
For example, Gary Keller, founder of Keller Williams Realty, recently made a 5 million dollar donation to Baylor University to create a research center for the study of home buying habits. The entrepreneur says the goal is to determine and study the issues important to home buyers and how real estate agents and brokers interact with them. In addition, Keller Williams raised more than $5.4 million nationally to aid 1,100 agent families that were victims of hurricane Katrina.
Carol Frey, who is an agent in Montgomeryville, shares this enthusiasm for helping others. Both her parents, William and Harriet (Heckler) Fridey, were very active in the North Penn area community. She recently sponsored a neighborhood yard sale in Lansdale. Each family that participated donated $10 to benefit the York Avenue Elementary School Home and School Association, to help them with funding ongoing projects. Frey presented a check for $300 to the Home and School Association. Frey was delighted by the generosity of these families and their dedication to their local school. She may be asking families if they wish to participate in another Yard Sale in the fall, and this time will be asking for help from local residents with the organization of the sale As a member of Keller Williams Realty International, the Montgomeryville office is part of the nation’s third largest real estate organization. Presently, there are over 74,600 agents and 624 offices nationwide.

Certify Your Backyard!Posted on: 2007-07-05For the National Wild Life Federation
On June 2, Carol Frey co-sponsored, with Linda Buchanan, a workshop on How to Certify your Backyard for the National Wildlife Federation. Linda is a Master Gardener with many volunteer hours in your resume.
Linda led a guided walking tour of an existing wildlife garden and habitat that sustains songbirds, hummingbirds, frogs, fish, butterflies, and beneficial insects through the careful selection of plants and water features, including two ponds.
